Dive positions available

Use your diving experience to secure a full time position.

Clipper Pearls require an experienced diver to join our team at our sea based pearl farm near Broome in Western Australia.

In this position you will be required to dive using surface supplied air, conduct shell husbandry, farm maintenance and be prepared to work as deckhand when required.

During the Operations and Harvest season, which runs from June to September, you would be required to live on the mother ship and the roster would be approximately 10 on/5 off. Food, accommodation and laundry included whilst on board our mothership. 

The rest of the year would be day tripping which has the benefit of you being home at the end of each day.

Essential Criteria:
• Rescue Diver accreditation - minimum
• Minimum of 60 hours of logged dives
• Dive Medical AS/NZS 2299.1:2007 (to industry standards by  PPA approved doctor)
• Current chest and long bone x-rays
• Restricted Coxswains - Aquaculture (Department of Transport WA issued)
• Senior First Aid
• Current Police Clearance (within last 3 months)
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Be self-motivated
• Be a team player and have a mature attitude

• PPA Induction Certificate (courses are offered in Broome) 1 year experience as a commercial deckhand or occupational diver
• Pearl farming experience an advantage


The successful applicant must be able to fulfil the essential criteria. 

Must be willing to relocate to Broome at own expense.
